The Jeremy Anderson Group partnered with a national team of curriculum directors, DEI leaders, principals, and counselors to develop a high-quality, research-based, culturally responsive suite of resources: Next Level Students, Next Level Teaching, and Next Level Parents. Together, these programs provide a consistent language and framework for social-emotional learning and character development across the entire school community.

The K–12 Next Level Students SEL curriculum is designed to help students build the character and competencies they need to be successful in and out of the classroom. Through interactive, age-appropriate lessons, students learn to manage emotions, set and pursue goals, make responsible decisions, build healthy relationships, and develop empathy for others. The curriculum is aligned with state standards and CASEL’s five core competencies—self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making—making it a powerful, ready-to-implement tool for schools seeking meaningful, measurable SEL impact.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS IN THE U.S. STILL LEAVE SCHOOL EACH YEAR WITHOUT A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, CLOSING DOORS BEFORE ADULTHOOD EVEN BEGINS.

IN 2023, ABOUT 48.5 MILLION PEOPLE AGES 12 AND OLDER IN THE U.S. HAD A SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER IN THE PAST YEAR (ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUGS).

NEARLY 1 IN 4 CHILDREN—AROUND 19 MILLION—LIVE IN A HOME WITHOUT THEIR BIOLOGICAL, STEP, OR ADOPTIVE FATHER.

IN 2023, CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES RECEIVED ABOUT 4.4 MILLION REPORTS OF SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT, INVOLVING ROUGHLY 7.8 MILLION CHILDREN.

IN 2022, MORE THAN 49,000 PEOPLE DIED BY SUICIDE IN THE U.S.—THAT’S ABOUT 135 LIVES LOST EVERY SINGLE DAY.

ABOUT 343,000 CHILDREN ARE IN FOSTER CARE IN THE U.S., AND RESEARCH SHOWS ONLY ABOUT 3–4% OF FORMER FOSTER YOUTH EVER EARN A 4-YEAR COLLEGE DEGREE.

IN THE 2022–23 SCHOOL YEAR, PUBLIC SCHOOLS IDENTIFIED ABOUT 1.37 MILLION STUDENTS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS—AND MANY MORE GO UNCOUNTED.

“Next Level Students” curriculum focuses on students becoming the best versions of themselves. Many students have low self-worth and don't see the value in education. Some of them are plagued with peer pressure, bullying, depression, homelessness, substance abuse, and issues at home. This curriculum was created to tackle these issues while helping to shape a student’s character and features powerful life lessons that give students proven steps to help them change their perspective and outlook on life. The Jeremy Anderson Group, LLC, is fortunate to work with an amazing team of educators with over 54 years of combined classroom experience. The lessons focus on the whole child and can easily be incorporated into PBIS.

Module 1: A Student’s Outlook on Life
This module helps students take an honest look at how they see themselves and their world. They explore purpose, character, and the power of taking responsibility for their actions. The goal is to move students from blaming and excuses to ownership and accountability for their choices and their future.

Module 2: The Student and Their Family (or Lack Thereof)
Many students are navigating broken homes, absent parents, or strained family relationships. Others simply struggle to communicate with the family they do have. In this module, students learn that their DNA does not determine their destiny—their decisions do. They gain tools to cope in tough home situations and to build healthier connections where possible.

Module 3: The Student and Their Relationship with School
This module reframes how students view school, helping them see education as a key to options, not just an obligation. Students explore the value of graduating, pursuing college or trade school, and taking pride in their learning. They also unpack the importance of respecting teachers and administrators and learn practical ways to help create a safe, bully-free school culture.

Module 4: The Student and Their Future
Here, students are challenged to dream bigger and make daily choices that match those dreams. The module highlights respect, honor, hard work, and sacrifice, as well as the impact of friends, environment, and mentors. The core message is clear: their current condition does not have to be their final conclusion—they have the power to write a new story.
